Mel Owen (played by Tamzin Outhwaite) has been going through an incredibly tough time on EastEnders.
The BBC soap favourite discovered her fiancé Ray Kelly (Sean Mahon) was triple-timing her.
In a bid to get back at him, she tried to ditch him at the altar.
But the whole thing ended in disaster as Hunter Owen (Charlie Winter) ended up killing his step-father.
Now, it seems there could be more drama in store for poor Mel, according to Tamzin.
The actress appeared on This Morning earlier today to discuss what’s coming.
In the coming episodes, Mel is seen drugging Hunter in order to keep him in the house to prevent him spilling the beans.
And she makes use of her old flame, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), in order to create an alibi for the night.
Tamzin revealed: “She uses him as an alibi and he agrees.
“Stupidly, she tells him everything.
“She thinks he’s got contacts and is going to really look after me… But does he?”
Now that Jack knows everything, will he spill the beans?
Mel certainly shouldn’t trust him considering she had let him down before by dumping him for Ray.
And what’s more, with a body being discovered, all eyes are on who the potential murder suspects are.
“It’s quite a tense moment,” Tamzin spilled. “We find out tonight the body has been found on the radio.”
Tamzin added: “She is called into the police station and gives an alibi of Jack.
“So she knows he still has feelings for her.”
But will Jack turn on Mel as he comes to terms with Hunter’s crimes?
Elsewhere on EastEnders, some beloved characters are about to make their screen debut.
Mary the Punk (Linda Davidson) and Lofty (Tom Watt) return to Walford for a touching reunion.
EastEnders continues tonight on BBC One at 8pm.
