Gardening expert Monty Don often issues advice to Britons about their gardens throughout the year. He is best known for his role on BBC Two’s Gardener’s World. On the show, Monty shares advice and tips from his own garden to enable Britons to get the most out of their gardens.
“Particularly cooked starches like potato or rice or pasta.
“The main reason for that, is not that it won’t decompose because it will in time, but it will so more slowly.
“It will attract rodents. You will get rats.
“Almost everything else from the garden and the house can go on.
Monty shared photos of parts of his garden now under water.
He captioned one post: “All very familiar for us in this low-lying watery place, but somehow special and slightly daunting every time.”
