Fans of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! complained about not seeing Harry Redknapp and his wife Sandra reunite after he was crowned the winner of the ITV realty show.
Usually, the contestants are shown being greeted by their loved ones at the end of the bridge when they leave the Australian jungle.
However, ITV did not air the special moment football manager Harry, 71, and his long-term partner Sandra reconnected at the end of the programme.
Instead the credits began rolling as soon as the father-of-two reached the edge of the infamous platform.
Fuming about not seeing Harry meet Sandra, one fan tweeted: “They just cut out the Harry and Sandra reunion!”
Another swore: “You f*****s @ITV how dare you cut off before we get to see Harry reunited with Sandra.”
A third groaned: “Nooo we didn’t get to see the Harry and Sandra reunion. All hail King Harry though.”(sic)
Someone else complained: “Shame the programme finished early and we never got to see when Harry met Sandra.”
Meanwhile another moaned: “When Harry walks across the bridge to meet Sandra and the camera cuts off before we see them reunite… SANDRA!
Harry, who beat actress Emily Atack to be crowned the King of the Jungle, received dozens of congratulatory messages from celebrity fans online.
Taking to Twitter to celebrate Harry’s win, This Morning host Eamonn Holmes wrote: “Well done Harry! Great winner [and] great series.”
Rebekah Vardy, who starred in last year’s series of I’m A Celebrity, exclaimed: “Yasss @Redknapp buzzing… get the jam roly poly out! Well done @EmAtack you were a super star.”
Harry constantly joked about how much he missed eating jam roly poly while on the ITV programme, as it is one of his favourite deserts.
Reality star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace said: “Yaaaaay well done Harry! True gent setting the trend on how to be a real man, a faithful husband and a decent bloke. Love how you love.”(sic)
Meanwhile, the official This Morning Twitter account penned: “Well there we have it! He battled his way through the bugs to become the new king of the jungle 2018! All hail King Harry.”
After being announced the winner of the competition, Harry sat down for a chat with hosts Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly.
Discussing what he had learnt from his jungle experience, he said: “It’s taught me how to laugh again, when you’re a football man it’s a serious business you’re up your down, you don’t mix with the players anymore it’s a lonely business.
“I have a happy home life, but really laughed when Noel was massaging [me] and he’s under the sheet [and] I’ve got no pants on and got my legs up in the air.”
He added: “I’m amazed I survived three weeks when I first came in and I thought I’m in trouble here. It was only Nick who knew anything about football, but they just dragged me in every single one of them.
“I can’t say not one single bad word about them. They pulled me up hills. ‘Come on Harry get up you can do it!’”
