Following I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’s move from Down Under to Wales, the ITV series underwent quite the makeover. In 2020, the line-up of celebs had to adapt to the frosty conditions in Gwrych Castle, North Wales, instead of battling the heat of the Australian jungle. And the location wasn’t the only new feature this year as the show’s famous Kiosk Kev was replaced by Kiosk Cledwyn. However, hosts Ant and Dec confirmed tonight would be his final appearance on the show.
And following Ant and Dec’s announcement at the top of the show, it didn’t take long for fans to voice their disappointment – with some calling for Cledwyn to head to Australia should the series return Down Under next year.
“We’re gonna miss you Kiosk Cledwyn [cry emoji] #ImACeleb,” tweeted one upset fan.
“Oh no good bye Cledwyn [cry emoji] #ImACeleb,” added a second on Twitter, with a third suggesting: “Can we do a best bits for cledwyn i think he deserves it tbh #ImACeleb #imacelebrity.” (Sic)
A fourth added: “Kiosk Cledwyn needs to go to Australia, Kiosk Kev is so 2019. #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity.”
The outpouring of love didn’t stop there as a fifth tweeted: “No more Cledwyn after tonight #ImACeleb [cry emoji].”
“The real winner of I’m a celeb 2020 is cledwyn. Those camp mates have nothing on that hairy angel #ImACeleb,” voiced a sixth.
Kiosk Cledwyn has been providing the laughs all series long thanks to his stern attitude at Ye Olde Shop.
And the semi-final episode was no different when Jordan North and Vernon Kay took on the final challenge in the hopes of bagging a treat from him.
The I’m A Celebrity elves then made their way to Kiosk Cledwyn to choose between chocolate orange or mince pies as their treat.
Feeling festive, Vernon and Jordan opted for mince pies leaving up to camp to get the question right ad bring the treat home.
However, the guys back at the camp failed to answer correctly, sending Jordan and Vernon back empty-handed.
And that wasn’t the only task the famous faces had to tackle this evening as the Celebrity Cyclone made its highly-anticipated return.
Giovanna Fletcher and Shane Richie joined Vernon and Jordan to take on the famous trial – and it’s safe to say it was far from plain sailing.
Just as all four made it to their spots on the runway with their stars, a wave of water brush all of them back to the beginning.
But with six seconds to spare, all the celebs completed the challenge and received a dinner of partridge as their reward.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! concludes on Friday on ITV.
