Love Island viewers have been spoiled by the arrival of Idris Virgo, Kieran Nicholls, and Alexandra Cane this week.
But while the three newcomers have refreshed the villa, Samira decided she had had enough.
After the dumping of her boyfriend Frankie, Samira has been beside herself, and has struggled to deal with losing him.
Last night’s episode saw her upset again over Frankie, complaining to her fellow islanders about missing him.
But it has been reported that Samira’s exit had more to do with another member of the island.
The hopeful left the show because of secret fighting with Georgia Steel, the Mirror has reported.
Tension has constantly built between the girls inside the villa over the boys, and it may have become too much for Samira.
The Mirror claimed she ran out of patience with “catty” Georgia, which may have influenced her decision to leave.
A source close to the show revealed the producers decided not to air a lot of fighting between the girls.
However this has since been denied by an ITV source, who told Express.co.uk: “There is no truth to that story.”
And Samira felt unable to turn to her close friend Dani Dyer as she was also good friends with Georgia.
The Mirror’s source continued: “There is a lot we aren’t seeing – Georgia has been catty to the other girls and Samira has kept her mouth shut but it is getting to her.
“Producers have cut a lot of Georgia out and it was just getting to Samira.
“She couldn’t confide in anyone as she felt she would upset the villa, especially Dani who is good friends with both her Georgia.
“Samira isn’t the only girl annoyed at Georgia, but she’s had enough.”
After she had decided to leave Samira told a few of her close friends the news – not including Georgia.
She explained: “So my lovely beautiful girls, you guys know that I’ve had a really tough couple of days here recently and I’ve been umming and ahhing about leaving.
“I’ve not had any connection in here with anyone and I had a little taste of that with Frankie and it’s gone abruptly and I think I’d always be thinking ‘what if.’
“I woke up this morning and I thought, it’s my time to go… I have to do this for me, I’ve never felt so strong.”
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
