New Indian wedding-centred drama Made in Heaven is about to drop on Amazon Prime Video. The series will premiere globally on Friday, March 8. It follows the lives of Tara (Sobhita Dhulipala) and Karan (played by Arjun Mathur), two wedding planners trying to make their mark on the Big Fat Indian Wedding scene.

Made in Heaven is set in Delhi against the backdrop of the huge Indian wedding industry.
According to Amazon, the comedy-drama portrays today’s India as a “potent blend where tradition jostles with modern aspiration, set against the theme of Big Fat India Weddings”.

Made in Heaven was filmed on location in Dehli in India, but further details surrounding specific locations are scarce.
The trailer, which can be viewed above, features some stunning shots of extravagant wedding ceremonies.
The two a leads, Karan and Tara are played by Arjun Mathur and Sobhita Dhulipala respectively.
Karan is a gay man living in a country at a time where homosexuality was illegal.
He, ironically, makes his living by planning the perfect weddings for his clients, even though he isn’t legally allowed that privilege.
Tara is an ambitious woman who is passionate about her wedding planning agency and strives for perfection and security in a marriage that is less than ideal.

The synopsis for Made in Heaven reads: “The show chronicles the lives of Tara and Karan, two
