When Rick and Morty first aired on AdultSwim in the USA back in 2013, the animated series quickly became a huge hit with fans around the globe. With the titular characters both voiced Justin Rolland, viewers quickly found themselves loving the incredibly dysfunctional grandfather/grandson bond between the pair. Over the past few seasons, the pair have jumped through space and time and crossed paths with several different characters, some of whom have been voiced by the biggest stars on the planet.

5. Christian Slater

As the third season of Rick and Morty got into full swing, Golden Globe-winner Christian Slater decided to guest star.

In the fourth episode of season three, Slater took on the role of Vance Maximus.

The charming Vance, “the Renegade Star Soldier” quickly made an impression on Morty.

However, he met a bloody end after being cut in half in one of Drunk Rick’s ‘Saw’ games.

4. Logic

Rapper Logic played an animated version of himself in the same episode as Slater’s guest appearance.

Logic performed on-stage after Rick and Morty escaped from Supernova (Gillian Jacobs).

He even wrote a song especially for his cameo appearance, which he sang on the show.

Logic’s made no secret he was a fan of the cartoon series before landing a role on the series.

3. Stephen Colbert

Famous talk show host Stephen Colbert made an appearance in season two, episode six.

In the episode, titled The Ricks Must Be Crazy, Colbert played Zeep.

Zeep is an alien entrepreneur who develops a new way of producing energy in his civilisation.

Rick and Zeep clash as Rick had first visited the alien world years before had come up with a similar idea called Googleboxes.

2. Jordan Peele

Oscar-winner Jordan Peele made his guest appearance in the season two opener.

The actor, who’s best known for being one half of comedy duo Key and Peele, played a Second Fourth-Dimensional Being.

In the season two premiere, Peele’s character ranges to speak to Rick and Morty after they inadvertently end up in four different dimensions and versions of reality.

He provides the collars that return them both to normalisation before sending them to Time Prison.

1. Susan Sarandon

Arguably the biggest star to ever lend her vocal talents to the series is Oscar-winner Susan Sarandon.

She played the character of Dr Wong in season three, episode three, titled Pickle Rick.

One of the show’s most popular episodes, Rick and Morty fans around the world often utter the title as the comedy’s best-known catchphrase.

In the same episode, Sarandon was joined by other big-name guest stars Danny Trejo and Peter Serafinowicz.
