Rylan, 30, is best known for his step-in presenting stints on This Morning, as well as being host of Big Brother’s companion series, Big Brother’s Bit On The Side.
However, after the Channel 5 show came to an end on the broadcaster last year, it seems Rylan could be setting his sights on joining Strictly Come Dancing.
Having appeared as a contestant on The X Factor back in 2012, Rylan is no stranger to being critiqued by a panel of judges.
The presenter teased he could join the BBC show after admitting one reality television show viewers would not see him on.
Speaking of what show’s he would appear on, Rylan said: “Not I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – absolutely not.”
However, he added: “It’d probably be Strictly Come Dancing if anything, but I never make plans.”
Could Rylan be snapped up by producers of the BBC dance show after his recent admission? It would not be the first time the This Morning star has appeared on the show.
During last year’s edition, which saw Stacey Dooley, 31, crowned the winner, Rylan made a cameo appearance by reading the terms and conditions alongside co-host Claudia Winkleman, 47.
The tease by Rylan to join the show comes after former Strictly contestant Ed Balls, 51, revealed some behind-the-show secrets.
The former Conservative political made it to week 10 of the competition with partner Katya Jones, 29, before being eliminated.
Taking part in the Send To All segment of the show, which sees Michael McIntyre, 42, take control of the celebrity guest’s phone, Ed made the admission.
After discovering a picture on Ed’s phone of the former politician wearing a ripped shirt, Ed explained the story behind the image.
It emerged the picture was taken while Ed was appearing on Strictly’s sister show, It Takes Two hosted by Zoe Ball, 48.
“I was on It Takes Two, and they told me that you shouldn’t wear a jacket. You should come in leisure wear.”
Ed continued: “I’d never worn smart casual before.
“I bought a shirt, which in retrospect was a mistake because it turned out to be what’s called tailored fit, which was totally bursting and looked absolutely terrible.
“Then the wardrobe person ran on with a pair of scissors and cut my shirt all the way up the back.
“It was to relax my front which from behind was quite exposed,” Ed admitted.
