Turmeric is a traditional Indian spice, usually used for cooking and in curries.

It has been used for centuries across India and Asia for its health benefits, but turmeric has also been discovered an an effective weight-loss method.

When ingested, the orange spice speeds up weight loss, sheds belly fat and actually spots fat cells forming and expanding.

The 70p spice is bright in colour and has a mild, slightly bitter flavour akin to mustard, perfect for cooking of even mixing with milk or hot water for a fat blasting drink.

Gary Barlow revealed he drank the spice in “golden milk”, a combination of 1tsp of turmeric, milk, cinnamon, black pepper, ginger, cayenne pepper and honey.

Along with weight loss turmeric has a host of other health and wellness boosting properties.

Turmeric is one of the most nutritionally rich herbs with good amounts of protein, vitamin C, calcium, iron, dietary fibre and sodium.

It’s also anti-inflammatory, with the spice being discovered to work as efficiently as actual anti-inflammatory medicines and there wasn’t a side effect to be seen!

The miracle orange spice is also useful for skins are regimes, reducing oil recreation and keeping pimples at bay. It is also known to clear acne scare and has natural antiseptic properties.

Another spice known for its weight-loss properties is cumin. 

When mixed with water, cumin seeds can boost dat loss and help achieve weight loss goals fast, with the swollen seeds imparting nutrients and helping to replicate the feeling of being full.
