EastEnders spoilers: Frankie Lewis drops a family bombshell on Mick Carter | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Mick Carter (played by Danny Dyer) learnt an uncomfortable truth about newcomer Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling-Ellis) last night, when he found out she had been taking one too many photographs of him, his son Ollie and the rest of the Carter clan. But in coming episodes, Mick is going to find out some shocking news about Frankie that will knock him for six.

Questioning why she’s obsessing over his family, he is left dumbfounded when she tells him they are related.

Viewers have watched the newbie form a trusting friendship with Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) in recent weeks, after getting a job at The Prince Albert.

This way, she has made herself a familiar face slap bang in the middle of the Carter matriarch and it’s only a matter of time before her ulterior motives are uncovered.

The family are a little unnerved after Mick explains all about the photographs, and when Tina asks her to explain herself, Frankie storms off.

And it soon becomes clear a huge secret is about to be exposed.

Or is there a more sinister plot afoot for the Carter clan?

Elsewhere in Walford, fans were left gutted when it was confirmed that Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) would be leaving the BBC soap in coming months once his contract comes to an end.

Kush has been at the centre of numerous storylines over the years, ever since his arrival on the Square in 2014.

Ahead of his exit, a show insider said: “Bosses have a huge plot planned but although Davood was told in January, his departure it is not for a very long time yet, in fact, Kush will be on screen until well into 2021.

“It’s a shame and he will be missed by everyone at Elstree but sometimes the cost of having a big storyline means losing big characters,” they told Metro.co.uk.

What on earth has he gotten himself into?

An EastEnders spokesperson also told the publication: “We can confirm Davood will be leaving EastEnders when his contract comes to an end next year.

“Davood has been a wonderful addition to EastEnders and we wish him all the best for the future.”

Kate Oates, head of continuing drama at the BBC, added: “Davood is a fantastic actor and a hugely popular company member, so we will miss him hugely.”

EastEnders continues tonight at 7:35pm on BBC One.
