Farming contractor has been pictured with two students of the Royal Agricultural University at the Cirencester Livestock Market in an a new move away from . The star has become an inspirational figure within the farming community following his appearance on the show beside former presenter .

Kaleb, 25, appeared beside RAU students Caitlyn Bartlett, 19, and Caitlin Oxton, 20, in pictures taken yesterday at the weekly market, as the pair helped the star farmer bid for cattle. The two students are the recipients of this year’s Kaleb Cooper Agricultural Bursary, which Kaleb launched with the RAU in Cirencester earlier this year.

Kaleb could be seen grinning from ear to ear as he stood next to the two students. They appeared to be in a lively discussion about the young calves they saw, closely looking at each one as they were brought out.

Kaleb looked well-insulated in a dark green jacket worn over several layers, while the two young students also kept warm in similarly-coloured jackets and warm-looking knitwear. The group seemed to be having fun as they stood beside other interested bidders at the popular market.

In the first year of RAU’s bursary programme, two bursaries were available to RAU agriculture students. Successful farmer and TV personality Kaleb personally funded one bursary, while the other was funded by the Elizabeth Creak Charitable Trust.

The annual bursary is open to undergraduate students from the university who come from a non-agricultural background.

It provides £3,000 to support students interested in exploring different paths into agriculture, which Kaleb is passionate about.

Bursary students also have the opportunity for a work placement with Kaleb himself, or one of his industry partners.

These placements can take place during the course of their studies or as a gap year placement.

At the weekend, Kaleb revealed to his fans on Instagram that he was yet another person to fall victim to a nasty illness during the cold season, as the farmer admitted he was feeling under the weather.

In the picture posted to his Stories, the farming enthusiast was looking worse for wear and uncharacteristically glum.

“It’s breaking news,” he told his 2.1 million followers. “I have officially lost my voice! Those who know me know I never stop talking so this is crazy! Definitely a lurgy going around!”

However, judging by the pictures taken in Cirencester yesterday, Kaleb is now feeling much better.
