Naga Munchetty: BBC host apologises for ‘inappropriate language’ as guest swears on-air | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Fortunately for Naga and Gina, the rest of their conversation went off without a hitch.

Elsewhere, Naga was recently defended by her co-star Matt Taylor, 44, after a BBC Breakfast viewer claimed the weather presenter had “drawn the short straw” by working alongside the BBC Radio 5 Live host on the morning programme.

Matt was quick to defend Naga in response to the Twitter user’s comment, replying: “Not at all – I love working with Naga.

“We may have a little bit of banter on air, but she is honestly the loveliest of people and hugely respects what I do. Have a good weekend.”

Naga seemed to appreciate Matt’s support, as she wrote back: “Love ya matey xx.”

Naga Munchetty’s BBC Radio 5 Live show airs Monday to Wednesday from 10am.
